Mr. Gillespie was a great teacher and I enjoyed a lot learning from him. He was very encouraging, versatile, and motivating. I wanted to play the violin for fun, and he made it fun and easy for me to engage. However challenging some aspects of violin-playing were for me, Lamond always found a way to teach me successfully and smoothly.

Most importantly, he is a very kind-hearted and patient teacher, therefore a pleasure to work with. It is so far my most successful violin-learning and music-playing experience.
