CD rerelease of Jimmy Power and Josephine Keegan’s 50 Odd Years recording.

The original master tapes have been transferred by Abbey Road Studios, London, with further restoration work from John Blake.

The CD includes bonus musical material with Jimmy Power playing with Michael Gorman, Paddy Malynn and Reg Hall amongst others, and interviews with Danny Meehan, Brian Rooney and Jimmy Power’s son Tom on the making of the original recording and a booklet with many previously unpublished photos with artwork by Jesse Smith.

This was Jimmy Power’s only collaboration with Josephine Keegan, and this recording was to be his last. It was made shortly before he died in 1985.
